Downloading MATLAB
- Just installed MATLAB ver. 7.1 for OS X on my MacBook Pro and ended up with a bouncing dock icon. Apparently, MATLAB makes native JNI calls (to JAVA for displaying figures and the MATLAB GUI) and this is not covered by Rosetta. Big bummer for me since I used MATLAB almost daily and was looking forward to the dual core really bumping up performance.
